About Skills Hub
Skills Hub is the central registry for AI agent skills. We give developers a single place to publish, discover, and manage the instructions that make coding agents useful — so every IDE stays current and every team shares the same source of truth.
The problem
AI coding agents are only as good as the skills they run. Today, those skills live as scattered markdown files copied between repos, pasted into IDE configs, and versioned by hand. Teams end up with stale copies, conflicting instructions, and no visibility into what’s actually being used.
Our approach
Skills Hub is built on the open agent-skills specification. Every skill follows a standard format (SKILL.md with YAML frontmatter), and every IDE connects through a single MCP endpoint. Publish once, and every consumer gets the latest version automatically.
What we believe
- Skills should be portable. Your instructions belong to you, not to a vendor. The agent-skills spec is open and IDE-agnostic.
- Teams need a shared source of truth. Private skill libraries, access controls, and usage analytics let organizations manage their agent knowledge centrally.
- Community makes everyone better. Public skills let developers share what works and build on each other’s expertise.
